I’m looking to leave Boston for 4-5 nights in July with my boyfriend. We are both in our mid-30′s. We are looking for a vacation with these features:
* Quick flight or non-stop (<6 hrs.)
* beautiful ocean waters & golfing
* fairly inexpensive (flight & hotel <$ 700)
* Inexpensive there would be great, too.
Any ideas that you've experienced? I've gone on-line for the usual packages, i.e. Caribbean &Mexico, but I think I need real life experiences, and feel like I need more options. Perhaps there's a hidden GEM that I haven't considered.

It’s not too far from you but it’s not too close either. You have Myrtle Beach and other gorgeous beaches.
And Myrtle beach is known as the “Golf capital”. Really great there!
